Burberry Prorsum Spring 2010 Collection at London Fashion Week

Hey sweets! So I was kind of bummed out for a while that Fashion Week here in NY has ended (no more celeb sightings on the home front) but my sadness turned to glee when I viewed the pictures of London Fashion Week, specifically the Burberry Prorsum Spring 2010 show. Mary-Kate, Ms. Anna Wintour, Freida Pinto, Agyness Deyn, and Alexa Chung are just a few reasons why my heart temporarily stopped, all looking chic! I knew I’d come to this point, or debate rather, of who has the best style: New Yorkers, or Londoners. Just take a look for yourselves, I think the answer is pretty clear. Aaah to be a Londoner.

On to the collection! For the first time ever viewers were able to watch the models teeter down the runway live as the company provided a live stream via their website, but I’ll save you some time and give you all the deets here! For the Spring Summer 2010 season, Burberry has outfitted their woman in monochromatic looks in soft greys, nudes, bubble gum pinks, soft blues and mint greens with contrasting pops of color throughout. Also providing the customer in snarkey, short, fitted trenches with lots of belts and straps giving you the option to pair it over mini bubble skirts or dresses with lots of zippers and ruching. Big shoulders have also transcended yet another season. The feel of the collection is very modern, casual, and easy, but still making a powerful statement. Needless to say, I think I’m in love… Check out a few of my favorite picks below.

Victoria Beckham Covers the October Elle

Victoria Beckham graces us with her fabulous prescence on the cover of October Elle US. I am sooo happy they didn’t use dark colors or have her dressed in her own collection. I love this cover. It seems as if she’s saying “Farewell summer.” Can’t wait to get this issue in the mail.

Victoria Beckham Quits Armani!

Sad news. Victoria’s Beckham’s latest ad for Armani Underwear will be her last. She’s made her decision to put more focus on her own clothing line. I loved Victoria’s ads especially those featuring her sexy hubby, David. Le sigh. Victoria was an ideal underwear model with her perfectly chiseled bod and her ability to embody the attitude of the brand. Who can Armani find to replace her? Rumor has it, they’re looking at Megan Fox. Do you think the sex kitten could do the brand justice? I don’t know, Megan seems to be an obvious choice because her career is hot right now, but I feel that in picking her it would be to cliche’. If chosen she definitely have some big shoes to fill.
