The best part about blogging hands down is getting the opportunity to attend some cool events, and even better if it’s for a good cause.

A cool, young fashionable crowd, an unlimited supply of drinks, and an exciting performance by Wyclef Jean makes for a good damn event! I obviously didn’t read the invitation too thoroughly because I was expecting the Grammy Award winning rapper and humanitarian to only speak on the cause, but he blessed the attendees with an hour long show! It was great. I remember wearing Timberlands all through High School, having those two tone lace-ups “beef-n-broccoli’s” or the wheat colored “constructions”, it was so necessary!
