Yea you read it right! A few months ago Lohan was tapped by the big wigs at Ungaro to be an “artistic advisor” (and I use those quotation marks severely) for the brand. According to Lindsay her aim is to bring a younger generation to the fashion house. So far the odds are stacked against her. Several new sources say she skipped out on the brand’s Fashion Night Out event, missed important conference calls, and Project Runway’s Tim Gunn seems to think the company is on some type of drug.
Tim Gunn spoke to the ladies at The Cut Blog during NYFW. “But I have to say that Esteban Cortazar is a big loss for them. I love Esteban, he’s extremely talented, and I’m just very surprised about that.” The affable Mr. Gunn took the same tack when we broached the subject. “Could I not comment?” he asked politely. “Of course,” we replied as Gunn pursed his lips, looked directly at us, and while not uttering a word into our whirring tape recorder, emphatically shook his head in disbelief. But then Tim, too, felt too strongly to hold his tongue. “It’s got to be a publicity stunt!” he blurted. “Or a crack-smoking board of directors?”

Lindsay Lohan Readies for Paris Fashion Week as Ungaro’s Fashion Advisor
Last week Lohan took to her twitter page to invite Miley Cyrus to the show:
“ @mileycyrus will you be in Paristhis week? would you like to come to the Emanuel Ungaro show for the new collection i’ve designed love? xo*“
I think I’m going to be sick. What is this some kind of twisted joke? What the hell does Lindsay know about being a fashion advisor better yet, what the hell is wrong with Ungaro for hiring someone with no fashion sense, let alone the ability to show up to work on time. While I’m sure she’ll have little or no input and will just serve as a figure head, couldn’t they find any other Hollywood starlet. This just screams publicity stunt.
