Newly Stocked Rodarte at Opening Ceremony!!!
Did you guys get the chance to indulge in the madness that was Rodarte for Target? I desperately wanted one of those black lace tu-tu dresses, but they were pretty much sold out before I got to them. Anyhow, if you happen to be a member of a certain tax bracket Opening Ceremony has stocked the official Rodarte collection. They have a few men’s sweaters, a few dresses, and a cool motorcycle jacket. On first glance it looks like a ball of confusion and dishevelment but taking a closer look at the garments you can tell that the Mulleavy sisters really tried to craft unique fashion forward pieces for their customer. Here’s to hoping I hit the lottery one day and can afford at least a dress.

Erstwhile Style Vintage
There’s just something about vintage. Aaaahh.. The ever lasting quality, the uniqueness of a garment, the story behind it, the fact that it is looked upon as a grand fashion archive; there’s just so much to love. Not too mention all of these goods come at an affordable price! I remember buying my first vintage bag off of ebay; it was a buttery soft tan leather satchel and I scored it for only $0.99. I know, crazy! Well I stumbled upon another vintage treasure, the Erstwhile Style Vintage boutique on Etsy. Ladies get your credit cards ready! Peep the finds below.

This Caught my Eye
I have a rather flip-flop sense of style. Somedays I’m classy, like Michelle O. You can catch me wearing a chic fitted sheath dress with a string of pearls around my neck and hair flipped and then on other occasions I’m more rocker, mix match-y, just don’t care, hair twisted up in a messy bun. Well if I had the energy today, it would definitely be a Michelle O day, and if I had the money this would be the dress. It’s featured on today’s Editors Picks at Shopbop and I love it! This silk Milly dress with cascading ruffles speaks to me. I am a sucker for good fabric and a luxurious color. I would totally kill this with my hair swept up, a pair of black satin round-toe pumps, and a sleek black leather clutch…
If you have the same unrequited desire, fill the void by clicking HERE. $374 @ Shopbop.

Recently Opened: Celeb N Couture Boutique in Brooklyn
At a time where the urban fashion market seems to be caving in through the struggle of major brands like Baby Phat Fashions, Rocawear and others, Stefanie McDonald has her heart set on reversing the trend with the opening of Celeb N Couture Boutique. Friday night was the grand opening or in my opinion a big slap in the face to hipsters every where! [over it] Just walking through the doors of Celeb N Couture felt like the dawning of a new day. The boutique stationed in a secluded section of Brooklyn was flooded with customers looking to purchase the latest in denim, tops, and jewelry. As shoppers slowly revert back to the styles they loved growing up, Celeb N Couture speaks to the urbanista serving a dish that has been craved for a long time. Stefanie, is a young, black woman, under 25 who etched out her own place in the fashion retail market. During the grand opening you could spot Stefanie walking around the store helping customers find their unique fit, creating a specific clientele list so that she may cater to the exact needs of each customer, and offering general style suggestions. I strongly urge you to visit Celeb N Couture Boutique if you want items and service that is sui generis, fresh and fab! Check out my interview with Stefanie below!
