Exclusive Zara 1000 Numbered Edition Sandal + December Look Book!!
Racked.com reported that Zara is gearing up to release its uber-exclusive 1000 Sandal that reeks of Balmania all over again. The shoes, which have the number 1000, adorned right on the sole, and will be sold in only 45 locations for $229. It’s winter in New York, freezing at that, so I don’t know how well these will do here, but I’m sure the true Zara fanatics will be out for these in full force. Zara has benefited from its fast fashion approach in this recession by bringing its customers that high fashion look at an affordable price. The chain was even able to open up 60 more locations this year alone. I love Zara, however I’m kind of sick of the whole Balmain trend frenzy and I’m read to leave all of it’s studs, epaulets, bold shoulders, and torn jeans in 2009. But knowing myself, I know once I see this babies on the shelf I’m probably going to lose it.
Zara also released images of its latest December Look book, which screams Parisian chic! I love it! The clothes are professional enough to wear to work, yet sexy enough to transition to a night out on the town.

Jean Paul Gaultier for Melissa Shoes!!
The environmentally friendly, plastic shoe company Melissa Shoes is teaming up with Jean Paul Gaultier!! I love Melissa, and I still plan on snagging a pair of those Dragon Fly heart shoes, done by Vivienne Westwood. I read on Made In Brazil, that Jean Paul Gaultier was one of the first designers to actually collaborate with the brand back in 1983. According to their site, the brand has also worked with Mugler, Patrick Cox, Karim Rashid, Alexandre Herchcovitch and Zaha Hadid. Here’s a sample of what’s to come.

So posting has been extremely slow as of late. Sorry, blame it on Fashion Week. Oh, and the end of summer. I had to get in all the fun in before the temps dropped. While patiently waiting for some Spring ’10 action, feast your eyes on this babies from Steve Madden. Obviously a direct knock off of the Alexander McQueen Faithful Bootie, but who can afford $1160 right now? We love recession friendly pricing. I’m crossing my fingers and praying to the Shoe Gods that these will be in my possession before the end of Fashion Week!

Ohh man! These ladies look chic in head to toe Jimmy Choo! I want every piece! I was a little wary when I heard Jimmy Choo was doing a collection for H&M, out of fear that the affordable fashion retailor may cheapen the pieces, but every item here looks great! H&M has stepped their game up tremendously! That black leather dress and zebra print clutch are mine!!! Can’t wait to it’s released on November 14 for the commoners! lol..
