Exclusive Zara 1000 Numbered Edition Sandal + December Look Book!!
Racked.com reported that Zara is gearing up to release its uber-exclusive 1000 Sandal that reeks of Balmania all over again. The shoes, which have the number 1000, adorned right on the sole, and will be sold in only 45 locations for $229. It’s winter in New York, freezing at that, so I don’t know how well these will do here, but I’m sure the true Zara fanatics will be out for these in full force. Zara has benefited from its fast fashion approach in this recession by bringing its customers that high fashion look at an affordable price. The chain was even able to open up 60 more locations this year alone. I love Zara, however I’m kind of sick of the whole Balmain trend frenzy and I’m read to leave all of it’s studs, epaulets, bold shoulders, and torn jeans in 2009. But knowing myself, I know once I see this babies on the shelf I’m probably going to lose it.

Jean Paul Gaultier for Melissa Shoes!!
The environmentally friendly, plastic shoe company Melissa Shoes is teaming up with Jean Paul Gaultier!! I love Melissa, and I still plan on snagging a pair of those Dragon Fly heart shoes, done by Vivienne Westwood. I read on Made In Brazil, that Jean Paul Gaultier was one of the first designers to actually collaborate with the brand back in 1983. According to their site, the brand has also worked with Mugler, Patrick Cox, Karim Rashid, Alexandre Herchcovitch and Zaha Hadid. Here’s a sample of what’s to come.
Already. In love.

Shoe Box New York Party!
It’s a famous saying that the best things in life come in threes, and if you were to put that thought in perspective when it comes to the three partners of the Shoebox NY franchise than you have just that. Yesterday I had the pleasure of attending the launch party of Shoebox NY celebrating its official re-design model of which all of its locations in Manhattan, Long Island and Palm Beach will follow. Still a little in the dark? Well close your eyes and imagine stepping off velvet roped red carpet into a shoe lovers dream. Turn to your right to spot this season’s latest Arturo Chiang leather pumps, walk a little further and you’ll see a cool pair of rugged Frye boots, glance to right to view a library of Tory Burch loafers or just look up to spot an amazing Vince Camuto satchel. No, your not at an Italian leather market, it’s a quaint NY boutique. Shoebox NY is indeed a one-stop shop and has all you need to look fashion forward, unique and fly. As shoe lovers, we all know the hassle of walking into a big department store and literally fighting for the attention of sales associates, but at Shoe Box NY you are guaranteed top-notch service. I had a fabulous time sipping cocktails, munching on yummy hors doeuvres and mingling with store associates, fashion bloggers and editors. I even had the chance to share a few words with shoe designer extraordinaire, Arturo Chiang. “I want my customers to know that I understand you work hard, but at the end of the day I want you to look pretty.” Wow he really gets me, no wonder I’m such a fan! Please check out the Pumpsicle.com for more coverage and if shoes are your first love!

These are wild!! Look out for the Christian Siriano collection for Payless. This is either going to be a good thing for us fashionistas who want that high fashion look at a budget friendly cost or really bad… I’m imagining little girls, with book bags in school uniforms going back to school in Christian Siriano for Payless. Eeek!
